1. Who we are

Travel With Amen Ra, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“Travel With Amen Ra”, “TWAR”, “we”, “us”, “our”), designs and operates small-group and private guided trips, primarily in Egypt. You can reach us any time at info@travelwithamenra.com.

2. Booking & deposits

A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and send written confirmation. Your deposit reserves your place and is applied toward your trip price.

• Whether your deposit and payments are refundable depends on the cancellation policy for your specific departure, stated in your booking agreement. Many departures are fully refundable if you cancel at least 90 days before departure; others (often capped or premium trips) are non-refundable. We commit to hotels, flights, permits, and other suppliers well in advance, so later cancellations forfeit more.
• Deposit amounts are stated at the time of booking (for example, the 2027 Solar Eclipse trip requires a $500 deposit).
• The balance is due on the payment schedule we provide at booking. If a balance is not paid by its due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled and retain amounts paid per Section 4.

3. Prices

Trip prices are per person and quoted in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices are not confirmed until your deposit is received. For capped departures we may use tiered (“early-bird”) pricing, where the price increases as seats fill — the price shown at the time you book is the price that applies to your booking.

Unless expressly included, prices do not cover international airfare, travel insurance, visas, gratuities, meals not listed on your itinerary, or personal expenses.

4. Cancellations & changes by you

To cancel or change a booking, contact us in writing. Because our costs are committed ahead of travel, the following applies unless your written trip agreement states otherwise:

• Refunds follow your departure’s cancellation policy in your booking agreement. Where a 90-day full-refund policy applies, cancellations 90+ days before departure are fully refunded; within 90 days a service fee applies. Non-refundable departures are identified as such when you book.
• Cancellations closer to departure forfeit a greater share of the trip price, reflecting supplier commitments we can no longer recover. Your trip agreement sets out the specific schedule for your departure.
• Some bookings may be transferable to another traveler; name changes and other amendments may incur supplier fees.

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and interruption (see Section 6).

5. Changes or cancellation by us

We plan carefully, but occasionally itineraries must change for reasons of safety, weather, supplier availability, or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible we will offer a comparable alternative. If we cancel a trip for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund the payments you have made to us for that trip.

We are not liable for costs you incur independently (such as airfare or nonrefundable bookings) when a trip is changed or cancelled, including for reasons of force majeure — events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, government action, unrest, strikes, epidemics, or transport disruption.

6. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain trips. At a minimum we recommend coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, medical care and evacuation, and baggage. You are responsible for arranging insurance appropriate to your needs.

7. Passports, visas & health

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, obtaining any required visas, and meeting the health and entry requirements of every country on your itinerary. We are happy to assist and to coordinate visa-on-arrival where available, but we are not responsible for denied entry or costs arising from incomplete or incorrect travel documents.

8. Your conduct & assumption of risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including in remote areas, at heritage sites, and during activities such as desert excursions and charter flights. By traveling with us you accept these risks. You agree to follow the reasonable instructions of our guides and local suppliers and to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, staff, and local communities. We may decline or end participation, without refund, where conduct endangers others or seriously disrupts a trip.

9. Third-party suppliers & limitation of liability

Many elements of your trip — flights, hotels, transport, activities, and payment processing — are provided by independent third-party suppliers. We select suppliers with care but do not control them and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any trip is limited to the amount you paid to us for that trip. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Photography & media

We may photograph or film trips for our records and marketing. If you prefer not to appear in such material, tell us before or during your trip and we will accommodate your request.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book applies to your booking. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
